Why do Word Study?
Learning vocabulary is one important part of learning English. But how can students learn vocabulary? What does learning vocabulary mean? Do you know a word if you can understand it when it’s spoken but not when it’s written?
Learning a word should be viewed from multiple level. Also, learning words should be treated as a process that takes time. Students need many chances to understand and use new words. Text books and flash cards are important tools, but they don’t make a complete vocabulary program.
Word Study is a system that lets students use their individuality and creativity to learn words on different levels, over a longer period of time, but in an organized way.
Getting Started
To start doing Word Study you will need a set of color coded boxes and printable business cards. Below are links to the materials featured in the videos below.
